It is freaky. Not normal and shouldn't be done. Alright, it will keep me from getting lost while busing, or when I walk somewhere...not my fault i have no sense of direction, but i really think that it is too much of an invasion of privacy.
there is too much information in that picture, some that shouldn't be given unless someone wants to, and only to that person they are talking to. The internet was a dangerous place, now even more so. I really don't want a stalker to be sitting outside of my window.
another, most people didn't even know about this picture taking, how scary is that? we didn't know that our lives, our homes are being photographed. think about it, what can stalkers do? this google maps will just make their lives easier...
